March 15th letter

Elder Arko hit his one year mark! He hasn't celebrated his "over the hump" day yet, except a friend there got him a little cake with one candle on it :) it was pink, but we don't get to see a picture because Elder Arko totally forgot to take one! Anyway Elder Arko is planning to burn his shirt today and will make sure to get that one on film. There is also an Elder there who is hitting his 6 month mark (the young'un) so that might be on there as well.

The Elders had a good Sunday where both Elder Arko and Elder Depew got to translate for two of their investigators. They also one more so 3 investigators in church was pretty good! :) Elder Arko doesn't enjoy translating though especially for fast and testimony meeting (since it was stake conference last week, fast Sunday was this week) so there was a lot to translate, but it worked out well.

The Elders had workovers this week and guess what?! Elder Dawson, the Elder that went with Elder Dephew, is about 2 weeks away from coming home from his mission. Where you might ask is his home? West Jordan! So he's going to be speaking on the 11th of April (Elder Arko thinks) so he'll try to get all the information next week so we can go meet him! Elder Arko thinks he's a pretty funny guy. Elder Holland was the one that Elder Arko went with and they basically got a baptismal commitment from one of our investigators, helped a less active, and found 2 new investigators :) so not a bad day.

The next morning the Elders had fun making a Kladdkaka (a swedish cake that is gooey and very good) which was kind of the send off to those visiting Elders.

Transfers are coming up and Elder Arko hopes he'll be staying, but will find out for sure very soon.

Oh, Elder Arko's email address has changed again. 3rd one so far. His email address is now jeffrey.arko@myldsmail.net
